North Texas Giving Day

The North Texas Giving Day officially kicks off today, September 7th, and goes through September 14th.  The website is open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight.

This year we have a very generous donor who will match up to $5,000 in donations given September 7th - 14th.

Any donation - no matter how large or small - will be appreciated.  All you have to do is go to www.northtexasgivingday.org, search for NDBSL or North Dallas Bulldog Support League and donate what you can.

For NDBSL to receive the match, please use the North Texas Giving Day site above - not the orange donate button on this site.

To support NTxGivingDay, there is a happy hour at On the Border, 3130 Knox Street, September 12th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Come join us and invite your friends, too!

How can YOU help the students at North Dallas High School?

A past president of NDBSL and the current vice president did not graduate from North Dallas - they are concerned, dedicated neighborhood residents who want to assist NDHS students become successful members of the community.

Our theme - Reading/Writing/Speaking for Success Throughout Life - is the guide we use to craft sponsorship and assistance programs.

Mrs. Katherine Wanserski Eska is the new North Dallas principal.  We are excited to begin working with her to make sure we are doing everything we can for the students.  We hope to have some fundraising goals very soon.

One item that is still at the top of the list is the homeless student population, which is expected to increase.

If you are interested in helping, any donation is welcome.  You can send a check to our address, 3839 McKinney Avenue, Suite 155-243, Dallas, Texas 75204, or use the Donate button at the top of the page, which will take you to a secure PayPal site where you can use your PayPal account or a personal credit card.  For either method, please designate if your donation is for a specific item or program, or a contribution to the general funds for North Dallas Bulldog Support League.

What is the difference??

There are four (4) major alumni groups that have been established over the years to address specific areas of support for North Dallas High School

Greater North Dallas High School Alumni Association (GNDHSAA).  Established in 1990 by Claude Brewer, class of 1947.  The current president is Frank L. Meier, class of 1955.  The GNDHSAA's original purpose was social - to build a community of alumni shaped by the Bulldog Spirit.  Every year GNDHSAA provides several college scholarships to North Dallas High School graduating seniors.

Partners in Education (PIE) Board.  Frank L. Meier is also president of the PIE Board.  The organization addresses educational needs of North Dallas students through business connections.  The organization is currently working with Rotary Club and Church of the Incarnation to help the homeless students of North Dallas.

North Dallas Booster Club.  Established in 2004; the current president is Greg Kimber.  The Booster Club's purpose is to provide encouragement and generate support for all athletic and sports activities at North Dallas.  This group is very active and sponsored the Uptown/North Dallas Car Show held at North Dallas High School in May, 2015.

North Dallas Bulldog Support League (NDBSL).  The newest addition to the ND support family.  Founded in 2010, NDBSL was originated to provide current students the support they need to graduate with the skills necessary to lead successful, productive lives.  All contributions (funds or goods) are made directly to North Dallas High School, or to another support group with whom we have partnered for a specific event or activity.  NDBSL strives to supplement and/or offset what DISD - or other support groups - does not provide.

These worthy organizations each have different missions, but their ultimate goal is the same - - to see North Dallas High School and her students continue to succeed.
