Our intent is to address:
- Low graduation rates
- Lack of opportunities for students to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities
- Lack of materials that support learning
- The need for students to benefit from an active and engaged community organized for their success
Our plan for addressing critical issues:
- Solicit funds through memberships, corporate donations and fund-raising events to establish a permanent source of financial support
- Work with the principal and staff to identify and prioritize critical issues
- Mentor at-risk students through the DISD Mentoring Program
- Attend student events to show support
- Participate with other organizations that benefit the school and its students
